Second largest in the nation, the Los Angeles Unified School District enrolls more than 429,000 students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. The District covers 710 square miles and includes Los Angeles as well as all or parts of 25 smaller municipalities plus several unincorporated sections of Los Angeles County.
San Pedro Early Education Center (EEC) is one of 89 Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Early Education Centers serving children ages 2 to 5 years old. Following its grand reopening in October 2025, San Pedro EEC has become a vibrant learning community dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing and engaging environment.
As a Nature Explore Certified program, the center offers children meaningful opportunities to learn through play, discovery, and outdoor experiences. San Pedro EEC is committed to supporting the whole child through developmentally appropriate practices that foster academic growth, social-emotional development, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., providing a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for children and families.
